This policy explains how Kester Education Media LLC (“MrsKs”, “we”, “us”), a North Carolina limited liability company, handles information collected through kesteredmedia.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site, plus the ordinary technical information every website receives.
- Information you give us. Your first name and email address when you request the free guide or join the email list.
- Information you send us directly. Anything you include when you email us.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit. We use this only to keep the site running and to understand roughly how many people visit.
We do not ask for or want your mailing address, phone number, payment card, government identification, or any sensitive personal information through this site. Please do not send those to us by email either.
What we do with it
- Send you the free guide you asked for.
- Send you a weekly email with a practical tip, a prompt, and news about what we are making.
- Answer you when you write to us.
- Understand which topics people actually want, so we make the right things next.
That is the whole list. We do not use your information for anything you did not ask for.
What we will never do
- We do not sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to list brokers, not to anyone, for any price.
- We do not rent, trade or share your email address with other businesses for their marketing.
- We do not send you anything you did not sign up for.
Who else touches your information
We use a small number of ordinary business services to run this site. They only receive what they need to do their job, and they are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
- Our website host, which stores and serves the pages you are reading.
- Our email service provider, which stores the list and delivers the guide and the weekly email.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to — for example, in response to a valid court order. If that ever happens and we are permitted to tell you, we will.
Leaving the list
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are out, immediately and permanently, with no questions and no “are you sure” page. You may also write to edsales@kesteredmedia.com and ask us to remove you, and we will.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
Write to edsales@kesteredmedia.com and ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. We will do it, and we will confirm when it is done. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR; we will honour those requests regardless of where you live.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the list is closed. If you unsubscribe we keep only the minimum record needed to make sure we do not accidentally email you again.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not run third-party advertising trackers. Our host may set cookies strictly necessary to serve the site. If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy and say so plainly before we do it.
Children
This site is meant for adults. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and we keep the amount we hold deliberately small — a name and an email address is not much to lose. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so in the weekly email rather than quietly editing the page.
