What we aim for
We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as closely as we can. That is the standard most organisations work toward, and it is the one we hold ourselves to.
What we have done
- Text and background colours chosen to meet contrast requirements in both light and dark display settings.
- Every page works with the keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
- Real headings in a logical order, so screen readers can navigate the page by structure.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with proper labels.
- Layouts that reflow to any screen width without horizontal scrolling, and text that stays readable when enlarged.
- Animation kept minimal, and reduced where your device asks for less motion.
Where we know we fall short
This is a small site built by a small family business, and we would rather tell you the truth than post a badge. We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit, and we have not tested with every combination of screen reader and browser. If something does not work for you, that is a real gap and we want to hear about it.
Tell us
Email edsales@kesteredmedia.com with the page and what went wrong. We read every message and we will reply. If you cannot access something on this site, tell us what you needed and we will send it to you another way — that is not a workaround we are embarrassed by, it is the point.
Third-party tools
We link to AI tools we do not control. Their accessibility is their responsibility, and it varies. If one of them is a barrier for you, tell us and we will help you find a route around it.
